Hotel and Travel

AAR has secured room blocks at both headquarters hotels, located directly across Main Street from one another in downtown Salt Lake City. Reserve your room by March 21, 2027 to receive the AAR group rate.

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)

Salt Lake City International Airport is served by nonstop flights from more than 90 domestic and international cities and sits just a few minutes from downtown — both AAR hotels are about 6 miles (an 8–10 minute drive) from the terminal.

The Grand America and Little America sit directly across Main Street from each other in downtown Salt Lake City, so directions and transit options are the same for both hotels.

By Light Rail (TRAX)

Board the TRAX Green Line at the airport station, located on the ground level just outside the terminal. Ride to Courthouse Station — both hotels are about one block (a 3-minute walk) from that stop. One-way fare is $2.50; trains run roughly every 15 minutes on weekdays (every 30 minutes evenings/weekends).

By Taxi or Rideshare

Taxis and rideshare (Uber/Lyft) are readily available curbside at the airport. Fare to either hotel runs approximately $20–25. Both hotels' concierge desks can also help arrange car service for the return trip.

By Car

• Take Airport Road to Interstate 80 East
• Follow I-80 East toward downtown
• Exit at 600 South (Exit 121)
• Turn onto Main Street — The Grand America and Little America are on Main Street, opposite one another

Both hotels offer valet and self-parking in covered garages, with EV charging available for guests.

Downtown Salt Lake City is compact and walkable, with most dining, shopping, and sightseeing either an easy walk from The Grand America and Little America or a short, inexpensive ride on the free downtown TRAX Free Fare Zone.
