Professionalism and Ethics Competencies for Radiology Residents

The ACGME requires that all Radiology residents comply with the competency and the milestone regarding professionalism prior to graduation. The lack of a uniform curriculum, however, is a challenge for program directors as the approach to “teach” professionalism varies from program to program.

Pedro J. Diaz-Marchan, MD, Baylor College of Medicine, with the support of an Ethics and Professionalism in Radiology Grant awarded by the AAR R&E Foundation, developed a series of short videos that address the different Professionalism and Ethics Competencies as described by the ACGME.
