AUR Health and Safety Policy for In-Person Attendees

There is strong consensus among health care experts that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective in reducing the chance of serious illness or death resulting from the disease. Therefore, AUR will require proof of full vaccination from all meeting attendees, adult guests, AUR staff and exhibitor personnel prior to the meeting or upon admittance to the meeting site.

Acceptable vaccines are those with FDA or WHO approval or emergency use authorization. An individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Additional details on vaccine verification methods will be provided at a later date.

AUR will continue to monitor CDC recommendations and will update safety measures as appropriate. For the most up-to-date information on AUR 2022 health and safety precautions and requirements, continue to monitor this page.

No vaccine exemptions

If a meeting participant does not meet the vaccine requirement they are NOT considered fully vaccinated and will not be permitted to attend AUR 2022 in person. AUR’s robust virtual meeting component will allow unvaccinated individuals to participate in most of the meeting remotely.  Eligible meeting programming will be available available on-demand through June 23, 2022.

AUR 2022 vaccine validation process

To gain access to the AUR 2022 meeting site all participants will need to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination by completing a validation process.

To avoid delays during the badge pick-up process, you can complete your vaccine validation in advance. The process is simple and will help you move quickly through the line upon arrival.
Option 1—Validation process for advance registrants via the CLEAR Health Pass

1. Download the free CLEAR app
2. Tap on the white Health Pass button
3. Select ”Have a code?” and enter ”AUR2022”
4. Create a free account by uploading a photo of a government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, and snap a quick selfie to confirm you are you. Already a member? Simply log in and verify with a selfie.
5. Follow prompts to securely upload your proof of vaccination. You can add your CDC card, scan a SMART QR code, or link to a health provider

Option 2—Validation process for onsite registrants

We highly recommend completing your meeting registration and vaccine validation prior to arriving onsite at AUR 2022.  The AUR 2022 registration and vaccine validation process are both quick and easy! However, if you must register for AUR 2022 onsite, you will need to provide proof of vaccination to obtain a badge and access the meeting.
Bring your vaccination record (paper or digital) to the registration area in the Phoenix Ballroom Foyer on your first day. Once verified by staff, you will then be able to pick up your badge.

Badge pick-up

When you arrive at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown you must stop at the Registration Desk to have your vaccine status validated.  Once successfully validated by staff, you will be able to pick up your AUR 2022 badge.  Vaccine validation and a meeting badge is required for anyone attending education, meal, or social events, including guests 18 and older.
