Meeting Registration:

Online registration for the AUR Meeting is now open.  Online registration is the fastest and most secure way to register.  Only MasterCard and VISA credit card payments are accepted online.  An e-mail confirmation will be sent within 24 hours of completion of online registration.

Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs):

RSNA has submitted applications to the American Board of Radiology (ABR) to offer several AUR sessions as self-assessment modules to fulfill ABR's maintenance of certification (MOC) requirements.  Click here to see the list of SAMs that are scheduled at the AUR Meeting. 

SAM Fees:

AUR Member:  $0
Non-member U.S. Licensed Physician:  $50 per SAM
Registration and fees will be collected at the AUR Meeting


Technical Exhibits:

Table top exhibits are available at the AUR Meeting.  These exhibits will be located in the foyer area.

Attendees will have access to the exhibits througout the meeting:

Monday, March 19      10:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday, March 20       6:30am - 5:00pm
Wednesday, March 21  6:30am - 5:00pm
Thursday, March 22     6:30am - 12:00pm

Innovations in Academic Radiology Program:

Drs Pablo Ros and Jim Rawson have designed a 2 1/2 hour program on Innovations in Academic Radiology.  A luncheon is scheduled prior to the start of the program.  The presentations will focus on what Academic Radiology could look like in 2020 and how we should prepare for the future.  The program will begin at 12:30pm on Thursday, March 22, 2012. 

Topics Include:

Teaching Professionalism and Ethics in Residency
Simulation in Radiology Education
Quality: The Essential Ingredient
Comparative Effectiveness Research
NIH and Federally Funded Clinical Research
Evolving Payment Systems
Imaging Informatics

Dr Richard Baron will give the Keynote address entitled, "Academic Medicine in 2020: Balancing the Three Missions and Its Impact in Academic Radiology".  The program should be of interest to all aspects of the academic radiology community.  AMA PRA Category CreditTM will be awarded to physicians attending this session.

AUR-Agfa Radiology Management Program:

This two day program scheduled on Tuesday, March 20 and Wednesday, March 21, focuses on management and leadership training.  It is based primarily on the case-study method, in combination with keynote talks and social events.  It is designed for approximately 30 radiologists and radiology administrators.  Participation in this program is determined by a nomination process.

AUR-Philips Academic Faculty Development Program:

The goal of this program is to bring together promising junior radiology physician faculty member early in their academic careers for a full-day program of education and networking.  Participation in this program is determined by a nomination process.  The program is scheduled for Thursday, March 22.
