AMSER Teaching Portfolio Template

This is a template that you can use to document your teaching activities in a format that is both comprehensive and easily either converted to an institution-specific format (e.g. a personal statement: or used in its entirety.  We recommend that you start recording your educational activities as they occur, rather than at the time you apply for promotion.

University of Colorado Dossier Preparation Guide

This is a guide provided by the University of Colorado to faculty planning to apply for promotion.  This is very comprehensive, and while institution specific, may help clinician educators organize their portfolios.  Further details can be found at this site.

MedEdPORTAL Resources

MedEdPORTAL peer reviews and publishes educational resources that typically are not suitable for conventional journals.  It is an excellent means of distributing many educational-related resources (curriculum, teaching modules, lectures, web resources, etc) while gaining an NLM citation and tracking usage of our resource.  A collated list of resources that may be of interest to AMSER members is attached here, several relate directly to promotional applications.
