MedEdPORTAL:
MedEdPORTAL (hosted by the AAMC) is a fabulous site to both find educational resources and publish your own creations. ACER has a collection on the site that members can publish to and many ACER members are reviewers for resources. The enclosed document is a selection of MedEdPORTAL resources that we thought may be of interest to ACER members. Ctrl-click on any MEP ID# of interest to you to link to the resource. To download the resource itself, you will need to register with MedEdPORTAL.
MedEdPORTAL publishes a wide variety of resources related to education, including curriculae, lectures, workshops, computer modules, interactive websites etc. Each publication is peer reviewed and you will have a NLM/APA reference for your CV/Teaching Portfolio. Publication is straightforward and takes about 3 months. Instructions are on the site.
Any questions about MedEdPORTAL or if you are interested in volunteering as a reviewer, should be sent to petra.lewis@hitchcock.org, the ACER associate editor for MedEdPORTAL.
